Hollywood Bachelorette Party Ideas
Desert Springs Nightlife-->Nowhere better than Costas
After a very relaxing afternoon at the spa, we got ready to check out the nightlife in Palm Springs. So to start it off, we go to The Lobby Bar for a couple drinks. It's hip and has a Hollywood buzz to the place that I was pleasantly surprised to see.
The Desert Springs Spa
I love spas. Who doesn’t? So after the pool, I spent my afternoon with the girls at the Desert Springs spa. You need to make reservations so make sure to give them a heads up 24 hours before. Arrive 45 minutes beforehand and get ready for a spa experience you’ve never had. Jacuzzi, steam room, quiet room, and exclusive pool with a breathtaking view of the mountain and golf course. Facials, massages, mud baths, and showers make you feel like a superstar.
The JW Marriott Palm Springs Pool
We checked out the pool at 2pm and with a temperature of 108 degrees, we needed to get into some water to cool off. The JW Marriott Palm Springs pool is awesome, filled with a taco stand, cabanas, bars surrounding the pool. Like Vegas, this pool comes with a DJ playing top 40, hip hop, and mashup tunes. The pool crowd is a lively bunch, mostly 22-30 year old peeps having a good time.
Bachelor parties in Los Angeles
For every bachelorette party, there's the bachelor party and so for all you girls out there, if your man is planning a bachelor party in Los Angeles, have him check out http://www.thebachelorweekend.com.
I created a blog specifically for bachelor parties so it gives some inside tips on where to go, what to eat and things to do. Enjoy!
Skinny Water!!!!
I normally am not a big fan of all the Vitamin Water knockoffs and that's all because of one reason, they taste terrible. I'd rather drink water than the Sobe life waters of the world. But a friend introduced me to one that was a pleasant surprise. No calories, no sugar but the flavors pack a punch and quite simply, they taste good. For all you girls out there, I recommend Skinny Water.
Terrible name I know but you'll be shocked at how good it tastes.
Planning a Bachelorette Party
Don't rack your brain over planning your girlfriend's bachelorette party. Keep it simple stupid and include activities that you know everyone is going to be cool with (ie. spa, dinner, drinks). It's all about the girls that weekend.
Another crazy night in Hollywood
Took a group out to Kress a couple of weeks ago and they got a huge cabana on the roof. Good times...
A Hollywood restaurant that doesn't stand for Bacon, Lettuce, & Tomato
BLT otherwise known as Bistro Laurent Tourondel, is an inviting, warm restaurant that blends comfort with good old fashioned American cuisine. Out of all the dishes offered there, the braised short rib stands out. When you first enter, it's loud and my initial thoughts were I'm not going to be able to hear anyone speak at my table. But to my surprise, the acoustics are well designed and enjoying a meal with friends turned out to be no problem. What's even better, is for groups larger than 12, they have a private dining room big enough for a feast.
Starting the night off with a pole dancing class
It's Saturday night and before you go out with your girls for dinner and dancing, here's an idea that would get everyone really excited.
