You've spent a Saturday night with the girls and wake up a little hungover in desperate need of food. You want something that's clean, fresh, and doesn't feel so heavy that you can't move after you've left. So before you head over to the Grove for some Sunday shopping, check out Milk on the corner of Beverly Blvd and Poinsettia place. It's cute, not too fancy and just looking at the desserts there will make you think twice about going anywhere else. My personal favorite is the chopped salad. Not too heavy, light enough where you can have a bite of your girlfriend's Snickerdoodle cookie.

I just checked out their media noche sandwich and farmer's market salad (see pics) today and I'd say the sandwich was pretty awesome. Farmer's market salad would have been great but it's a bit too acidic for me. Lighter on the lemon and little more on the oil and it's up there with the chopped salad. Here are some pics...
